The Special Tribunal for Kosovo arrested the first former UCC fighter

On 24 September, the Special Tribunal for Kosovo in The Hague first arrested a former UCK fighter (albeit: Kosovo Liberation Army). Salih Mustafa received an arrest warrant. This was reported by the Albanian news agency Telegrafi. Mustafa will appear in court in a preliminary trial without illegal delays. Recall that in June this year, the tribunal published indictments against Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and former head of the UChC intelligence service Kadri Veseli. Since then, several members of the Kosovo parliament and other representatives of the UCC command staff have been summoned to the tribunal. The head of Kosovo, Thaci, was already invited to the tribunal to hear evidence, which lasted four days. On 24 September, the politician stated that during his interrogation he had not had to answer questions related to organ trafficking and the notorious yellow house in which, according to the book of Carla Del Ponte Okhota, former Prosecutor General of the International Tribunals for the Former Yugoslavia and Rwanda. I and the war criminals were held illegally detained persons, Serbs, Albanians, Russians and representatives of other nationalities whose authorities were sent for sale. The activation of the Special Tribunal in 2020 is associated with the desire of the European Union to put pressure on Kosovo in order to prevent the transition of leadership in the dialogue on the Kosovo settlement to the United States.
