You’re going to have to mark your calendars for today’s Product!Paramount Home Media Distribution is celebrating 40 years of cult classic Mahogany with a Couture Edition, arriving on DVD May 5th, 2015.
Not familiar with Mahogany? It stars the fabulous Diana Ross, who plays a secretary who becomes a high fashion model and world famous designer, and Billy Dee Williams, a Chicago politician who falls in love with her.
The film received an Oscar nomination for Best Music, Original Song for “Theme from Mahogany (Do You Know Where You’re Going To?),” which also became a chart topping hit.
The Couture Edition of the DVD boasts updated packaging and includes collectible fashion prints of design sketches and many of the iconic and groundbreaking looks worn by Diana Ross in the film (available for a limited time only). The DVD also includes a photo gallery of images of the fashions showcased in the film.
Come May 5th, the DVD will for $14.99.
