As I said before, this is a weak month, and even though the girls they casted for the covers are not weak at all, the results are not that good.

Vogue Japan is always the same. White background and a model. Terrible.
Vogue Japón es siempre lo mismo. Fondo blanco y una modelo. Terrible.

This cover is nice but bland bland bland.

Vogue Australia January 2013 : Carolyn Murphy by Regan Cameron
This is quite a nice summer cover. It's simple but fresh. They used nice colours too.
Es una portada de verano bastante bonita. Simple pero fresca. Y con bonito colores.
Vogue China January 2013 : Zhou Xun by Karl Lagerfeld
Too "glamourous" for my taste. I see lots of wrong things in this cover.
Demasiado "glamourosa" para mi. Veo demasiados errores en esta portada.
Vogue Portugal January 2013 : Karolina Kurkova by Giampaolo Sgura
Vogue Portugal does it again. It seems like they only do original covers with Sara Sampaio, and they use reprints for the rest of the year.
And, if you're using a reprint for the cover, at least pick a good one.
I love Karolina, but this ed for Vogue Germany is really bad.
Vogue Portugal lo hace de nuevo. Parece que solo pueden hacer portadas originales con Sara Sampaio, y usan reprints para el resto del año.
Y, si vas a usar un reprint, al menos elige uno bueno.
Me encanta Karolina, pero este editorial para Vogue Alemania es muy malo.
Vogue Germany January 2013 : Jessica Chastain by Bruce Weber
This is a nice cover but there is something that bothers me and I don't know what it is.
But the issue is dedicated to Bruce Weber, whose photography I love, so it's a must-have.
And as a Downton Abbey fan I love the little ed featuring some of the actors. They all look gorgeous.
Es una portada bonita pero hay algo que me molesta y no se que es.
Pero el número está dedicado a Bruce Weber, cuya fotografía adoro, así que es un must-have.
Y como fan de Downton Abbey, me encanta el editorial con algunos de los actores de la serie. Salen todos guapísimos.

Quite nice cover for US Vogue.

Vogue Russia January 2013 : Lara Stone by Hedi Slimane
A lot of people say "you can't go wrong with Lara", and this cover shows they're wrong.
Hedi is such a bad photographer, and you can see it here. It's not a nice cover. It's boring, the colours don't work and Lara is doing nothing to save it.
Mucha gente dice "con Lara no te puedes equivocar", y esta portada demuestra que no tienen razón.
Hedi es muy mal fotógrafo, y aquí se puede ver. No es una portada bonita. Es aburrida, los colores no funcionan y Lara no esta haciendo nada para arreglarlo.
Vogue Netherlands January/February 2013 : Agnes Nabuurs by Erwin Olaf
I have no idea why they do January/February togheter but, talking about the cover, I think is quite obvious that it not a good one.
No tengo ni idea de por qué hacen Enero/Febrero juntos pero, hablando de la portada creo que es bastante obvio que no es buena.
Vogue España January 2013: Edita Vilkeviciute by Patrick Demarchelier
I love Edita and it makes me happy to see her on a Vogue cover, but the styling is awful and even though she looks good, this is not a great cover.
Me gusta Edita y me hace feliz verla en otra portada de Vogue, pero el estilismo es horrible y aunque ella sale bien, no es una gran portada.
Vogue Mexico January 2013: Jacquelyn Jablonski
This is probably one of the best covers for January. I like the styling, Jacquelyn looks good (despite the hair) and I think everything works well.
Esta es probablemente la mejor portada de enero. Me gusta el estilismo, Jacquelyn sale bien (pese al pelo) y creo que todo funciona bastante bien.
Vogue Korea January 2013 : Ji Hye Park & Kim Sung Hee
This cover is quite scary, isn't it?

Vogue Brazil January 2013 : Joan Smalls by Henrique Gendre
5th vogue cover for Joan (if I'm not wrong) and 3th disaster. Her Italian Vogue cover was ok, her Australian Vogue cover was nice, but then...Vogue Turkey, Vogue Japan, Vogue Brazil...she can be number 1 at models.com but she doesn't know how to shine on a Vogue cover.
5ª portada de Vogue para Joan (si no me equivoco) y 3er desastre. Su portada de Vogue Italia estaba bien, la de Vogue Australia era bonita, pero después...Vogue Turquía, Vogue Japón, Vogue Brasil...puede ser la número 1 en models.com pero no sabe como brillar en una portada de Vogue.
