You know what's even crazier about falling instantly in love with this product? I've never actually tried the iconic ABH Dipbrow pomade! I just rarely use a pomade so it wasn't a product that made me need to try it!

But, I use a brow gel basically every day, so I was really excited to try out the Dipbrow Gel! And, I waited a little while to pick this up because I wanted to try out the mini version first and it took a little while for the minis to come in to stock on Sephora's website.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Gel - Review and Makeup Look

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Gel ~ $12.00 CAN for mini size shown here (full size is $24.00 CAN). A highly-pigmented brow gel with a long-lasting, waterproof formula for creating fuller-looking, defined brows—like Dipbrow Pomade in a gel form.

This is available in 11 shades ranging from Blonde to Granite, and I picked up the shade Dark Brown, described as "for dark brown hair with a warm undertone". I thought it was a good shade selection as I dye my hair darker than my natural hair colour.

This is described as a waterproof formula that lasts up to 12 hours and the applicator allows for application both on the brows and the skin for a natural looking finish. I thought it lived up to that long wear - I've worn this in all weather (super hot to raining) and my brows have stayed in place and not ran or faded! This brow gel actually offered a really great amount of hold as well - however I shaped my brows is how they stayed until I washed them off!

This has a little spoolie applicator and what's really great about it, is that only a little bit of product comes out on the applicator - you do not need any more that what comes out on the brush. A little goes a long way with this product!

I was instantly pleased with how this product looked on my brows - it really works well for me because I have naturally thicker brows and really use a brow product to darken, control and fill in. I don't like super sharp brow lines, especially not for an everyday brow and prefer a more natural brow look.

But, this can be a little bit of a finicky product and my best advice is to use the smallest (a couple of dots and I'm good) amount of product and brush it through the brows. I found pulling the wand out without dipping back in was enough to fill in both eyebrows and then brush over them a second time to shape. If you use too much, I can see how this could look gloopy, so go with the "less is more" saying while using this and build it up if needed!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Gel - Review and Makeup Look

This brow look is only the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Gel on my brows and I can't remember the last time I fell so quickly in love with a product, and it's easily become my go-to. I love that it wears well on it's own and can fill in my brows and look great, or I can layer it on top of a brow pencil to set/hold a more defined shape. But, I do think this offers a good amount of definition and precision as that little applicator works really nicely!

What's your go-to brow product - pencil, gel or pomade?! I think a gel is the easiest and quickest for everyday, and will add a pencil under for a more defined look myself!
