“Still actively looking for another female rapper who can undo the blunder of Iggy Azalea,” announced T.I.
Iggy Azalea receives and delivers some of the gnarliest messages on Twitter, so when T.I. publicly came for the Australian rapper, we were on pins and needles awaiting her response.
On Thursday, the “Whatever You Like” rapper — known professionally as Tip — announced he was “still actively looking for another female rapper who can undo the blunder of Iggy Azalea. That is the tarnish of my legacy as far as [being] a [music] executive is concerned. To me, this is like when Michael Jordan went to play baseball.”
In a since-deleted tweet, the “Fancy” singer ripped into her former mentor, calling him a “misogynist.”
“Imagine thinking I was his biggest blunder lmaooooooooo,” she tweeted. “Tip. Sweetie. We have a whole list for you.”
Azalea later added and then deleted, “The tea I could spill on what bullshit this is but at the end of the day I think people can see it’s clear he’s salty. He’s a huge misogynist and has never been able to have a conversation with any woman in which he doesn’t speak like a fortune cookie.”
There’s no denying T.I. played a part in launching Iggy’s career in the U.S. Before achieving mainstream success with “Fancy,” she got a co-sign from her Grand Hustle boss. Together, they released “No Mediocre,” “Change Your Life,” “Chasin Me,” “Hell You Sayin’,” “Hustle Gang,” “Murda Bizness” and “We Go Hard.”
But since parting ways with the music producer and his company, Azalea’s career has seen a dip. Her 2019 independent LP, “In My Defense,” only reached No. 50 on the Billboard 200.
But T.I. isn’t the only celebrity Iggy’s been publicly feuding with lately. When Wendy Williams asked her audience during a recent show, “Who’s the Australian girl with the fake body?” Azalea hit back hard.
“Who’s the crack head in the half way house with the gossip show thing?” she replied, before retweeting a message that read, “Your breath stink from talking shit, you want a mint?”
Less than 10 minutes later, Azalea added the stinging barb, “Wendy Williams is a walking Mike Tyson tribal tattoo slapped over a deeply set c-section scar. I’ve had enough.”
She added and then deleted, “You would have thought after crying publicly all summer, walking around in a wig that looks like it hasn’t been brushed in a week, talking to papz clearly high as hell etc. etc. she would mind hers but her she is…baby!”
FYI: Wendy got her stomach tattoo to cover a tummy tuck scar. “I don’t particularly like that one, but I’d rather have that than the cut,” she previously explained.
